Thank you to all teachers, staff, parents and families who came out to our annual Trunk or Treat event. Everyone had a great time! This event took place on our school playground where the kids went car-to-car to get their treats. We even had a haunted house for primary and upper grades. There was food, dancing, balloon animals, face painting, and a costume contest. We look forward to seeing everyone next year!
This year for Red Ribbon Week our theme was “Life is your journey. Travel drug free.” During the week of October 23-27, students wore red on Monday. On Tuesday, students wore their favorite sports jersey or shirt to team up against drugs. On Wednesday, the students wore mismatched or crazy socks. On Thursday, students wore pajamas. On Friday, we had crazy hair day. The school community came together to be a part of the creation of a drug free school.
Classrooms participated in the door decorating contest for Red Ribbon Week. Teachers and students worked together to create a spooky door with kid-friendly work. Congratulations to classrooms that won the door decorating contest, Ms.Hughes, Mrs.Brody, Mrs.Gamboa, & Ms.Phan.
LAUSD Parent Portal was created especially for LAUSD parents.
This is one-stop online system that connects parents and guardians to their student’s essential data.
Our top three winners did a marvelous job supporting our school. The students and the parents went out of their way to sale chocolate to friends, family and co-workers. Our first place winner sold 17 boxes. Congratulations, to the winners Nevaeh (1st place), Zoey (2nd place) and Karisma (3rd place)!
Limerick’s annual schoolwide candy sale is starting September 24th to October 8th. These sales help us fund field trips. Since all of the students will benefit from our fundraiser, we would greatly appreciate everyone’s cooperation. We thank you for your hard work and desire to help our school.

We want to welcome our new and our returning families! Back to School Night is a time where you visit classrooms and meet the teacher. This is a great opportunity to see what your child is doing on a daily basis. Teachers may go over the curriculum, class schedule, and expectations for the new school year. We hope you are able to come and visit.
