This is where students learn about different careers from our parents. This day provides students with an experience that facilitates a connection between their academic interests and professional endeavors in the future. In addition, students are able to develop meaningful and personal connections between our parents and community.
These students have been dedicated in practicing and performing for our school this year. We appreciate Ms. Marshall for all her hard work. The students did an amazing job in their performance. Thank you to all the parents who came out and enjoyed the show.
We really appreciate the Teachers at Limerick. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.
Congratulations to our winners! These students sold the most chocolates. We had two first place winners Breanna and Maddisyn and our second place winner was Joshua. We are so proud of all the students who participated in this fundraiser. Thank you for helping out our school! We appreciate all your hard work and effort in contributing to a successful fundraiser.
On Saturday, April 20th, the Limerick Community came together for a great cause. We had a large group of people show up to support Dignity Health's Victory for Victims.
We wanted to acknowledge the families that came out in support for others:
Bok Family, Ramirez Family, Belen Family, Castillo Family, Centeno Family, Chavarria Family, Contreras Family, Hurtado Family, Masariegos Family, Muñoz Family, Olmedo Family, Palma Family, Ramirez Family, Rosales Family, Santoya Family, and Ureta Family. We truly are a school full of kindness to help others. We also won third place in the race.
In February, we celebrate Black History Month. We had the privilege of seeing a performance by “Rhythms of the Village.” This is a multidisciplinary cultural program funded by Onochie Chukwurah. Students, teachers and staff were captivated by the singing, dancing, and storytelling that were entertaining, educational, thought provoking and humorous. The performance provided relevant learning experiences rooted in the Nigerian culture. “
Kindness week was another successful event. It helped to elevate the school climate. We had fun activities all week long. Kindness week provided opportunities for our students to care for each other in ways that go above and beyond their normal interactions. Students felt an increase in compassion, unity and respect.
Literacy Night at Limerick was an experience where parents and their children came to listen to teachers and read stories about Kindness. Students also had milk and cookies during story time. Thank you teachers, students, and parents for participating in this event.
