Limerick E.S partnered with Dignity Health in a community celebration of Kindness! Students were greeted through a dance and music filled balloon arch! Earth friendly- biodegradable dove balloons with messages of peace, kindness, and hope were released by students. Original student writing and a meaningful song were shared at an all school assembly. It was, indeed, a Kind Day!

Limerick teachers, students, families, and community members came together for the 2016 STEAM Carnival on Saturday November 19th. The STEAM Carnival was a culminating activity after an 8 week Saturday School STEAM enrichment program. Students utilized the Engineering-Design Process in order to design and examine a carnival game. The students examined the application of concepts such as mass, weight, force, speed, velocity, acceleration, gravity, friction, and the Laws of Motion. In addiction, they examined real world connections to measurement, scale/proportion, and probability. It was a wonderful community event. We thank the Limerick parents, staff, students, and community members for making the event a success! Thank You!
